Gavilan College
Formerly known as San Benito County Junior College, Gavilan College opened its doors in 1919. It can be found on Santa Teresa Blvd. in nearby Gilroy, California. Among GC's large variety of program offerings, you will discover two excellent programs for aspiring licensed vocational nurses. Graduates of the college's LVN programs will receive either a certificate or an associate of science degree in vocational nursing.

Merritt College
Merritt College is located on Campus Drive in Oakland, which is just a short drive from San Jose. Named after Doctor Samuel Merritt, Merritt College offers a wide array of programs from horticulture and environmental management to paralegal studies and nursing. LVN students at Merritt College can choose to work towards either a certificate or associate degree in vocational nursing.

City College of San Francisco is situated on Phelan Avenue in nearby San Francisco. Originally named San Francisco Junior College, City College of San Francisco was founded in 1935. There are more than 50 program offerings at CCSF, including a three-semester LVN certificate of completion program.

Hartnell College

Los Medanos College
Los Medanos College was established in 1974 and can be found on East Leland Road in Pittsburg, California. This is a two-year facility that offers more than 55 certificate and associate degree training programs. Full-time students can complete LMC's vocational nursing program in just three semesters, after which time they will be awarded occupational certificates of completion.
